A little change means a huge progress! Choose a bike.

Hello everyone!

In today's blog I'm going to talk about the "cars versus bikes" problem that affects our urban society. The big differences about this two transports had a huge impact in the environmental problems today and that is something that we have to take care of before is too late!

As you might know, the earth is in crisis. If we don't move from some of our habits or raise our voice for a big change in the use that the economic bussiness has in the nature, any moment from now our home is going to die. We have to do something and even a little change can became in a huuuge progress! That's why I'm a bike lover.

I know the polution of a car represent an amount of the total percent of polution that affect a city. It's not the only type of transport, yes, but is the most used one. So, if we want to reduce that awful percent, letting go the car as a transport will be the perfect way. Think about it, you'll be helping our enviorment and also, helping yourself, because you'll be reducing the risks of get sick with some lung ilness.

The best way of replace a car? In my opinion, is a bike. As all the types of transports that existe, the use of it has favorable and unfavorable details. But I believe that the benefits are worth it! In first place, you can excercise you body and activate your mind while you are moving round the city, no need to go to the gym so often. Also, you can move faster and freely, of course, always with precaution and respecting the traffic laws to avoid accidents...

And the MOST IMPORTANT, you are helping to reduce your carbon footprint and helping out precious enviroment.

Hey! If you want to change a car, you are free to choose other types of transports too, but try to give a chance to the bike! You only need responsability -paying attention in the streets- and take care of yourself in your daily travel.

I understand that save our earth is going to take time and effort, but we can make it work if we start to change our habits, teaching other people to change their habits too.

My academic future

Hello everyone!
Today I'm gonna talk to you about ehat I believe it's going to be my "academic future"...

The first thing you have to know it's that, if I'm going to keep studying, is going to be far, far away from an university -or at least that's how I see it know- because I've been so much time studying in my current University that I feel so tired of been here haha.

I have study already two careers, and I want to take a break of the "hard study". For the moment, I know that once I graduate from Journalism and leave the University, I'm going to focus in find a job and work for a while. But, I guess, I could try to study something else as a hobby or distraction, and if I have to choose something, that would be a foreign language.

There are three language I want to learn in my life. The first one is english! I know a bit of it, but I would love to perfectionate the speaking and the writing, so I could be more secure every time I used it. And is important to me, because is a language that you can use in a lot of countries! So, I believe, is a perfect prospect for my future.

I wish I could learn english in England!

You could vsit Paris with the english language
and once  you are there I could learn the French language!

The second one was japanese. Since I was a little girl, my dream has been to travel to Asia and visit some countries. One of them is Japan! I love japanese culture and I've been told that travel to Japan is "something else", there are so much thing to do, so much things to see... the beauty of the country side, the myths, the legends of samurais or their gods, or in the other hand, as the global capital of technologic, Tokyo is an amazing city that never sleep! And there is the most "bizarre" and amazing things.

The country places of Japan are the most beautiful ones.

And the city is full of life and technology!

And, in the other hand, my dream is to know South Korea. The last years, I've been learning a lot of their culture thanks to their music. I'm a big fan of K-pop, a korean style of music that mix some music styles such as pop and rap -is very catchy!- and, because of that, I want to know Korea that, just like Japan, has its own charm, their culture is so intreseting and the pleace has beautiful landscapes... I't would be a dream come true!

The city of Seoul is big and charming!

The Seoul Tower.

The places near to the sea are the marvelous and remains
a lot of their sacred culture!

Of course, to visit Japan and Korea, I need to know their language first and their writing! The japanjese "Kanji" and the korean "Hangeul. So, my academic future will be to learn japanese, korean and alittle more of english here, and then, travel to the respective countries to practice and improve each of them! I know it sounds difficult to complete... but if is a future plan, I would have to prepare myself from now on to complete it, hehe.

Favorite music album!

Hello everyone!

Today I'm going to talk to you about my favorite music album...
As a music lover in general, if you ask me which one is the best musical genre, it's a little difficult for me to choose just one. Since I was a child, my music taste has grown a lot and also my favorite type of music. For example, today, my music taste goes from rock and grunge to kpop. Practically a mix haha.

When I was a little girl, I loved so much pop music, but I was also very interested in the pop and rock music of the 60's and 70's because my parents influences! They used to listen (and still do) so many bands from that time -english and spanish bands- and, I guess, that helped me to get this love and appretiation for music in general... and of course, I have to say "thank you" to that little detail for the fact that one of my favorites bands today is The Beatles.

From ballads of love in their very beggining to experimental rock in the middle and the end of their career, I just fell in love with almost every single one of their tracks! There is something in the music of the fabulous four that makes me feel happy and warm, something weird if you think that I met them when they practically were not longer a band... I guess, that is what people means when they talk about them as "a band that was ahead of its time"! Brilliant.

And also, that is the reason why, if I have to choose one album as my favorite one of all time, I must say that is Sgt. Pepper's and the Lonely Hearts Club Band! For me, a disc that is a piece of art, specially for the package arrangement (or maybe is just me and the fact that I have a speacial love for them hehe).

However, I guess the truly reason why I like it so much (beyond the fact that I love the band and specially this one contains some of my favorites tracks such as "She's leaving home", "When I'm sixty four" and the amazing "A day in the life") is because, this was the frst album I bought by myself when I was fifteen and was the first vinyl I ever had... so precious that I take care of it until today and try not to listen so often to keep it safe and away from dust! You know, that is vinyl's worst enemy.

Favourite Movies!

Hello everyone!

In today's blog I'm going to talk to you about movies. I love films, I always find them so entertaining and I like to feel that everytime I put a foot in a cinema or I when prepare myself to see a movie in my home, I just feel like I'm entering in a whole new world, where all my worries left behind. It's a fantastic feeling.

Now, even when I love movies, I don't have so much knowledge about cinema. I just enjoy movies from a different genres, romantic, comedy, drama, action (excpet scary), i guess I just feel attracted to the beauty of them...

Nevertheless, I do have two favorites directors and their movies will always be my favorites no matter what is the plot because of the way they tell a story in their work. Those directors are Wes Anderson and Hayao Miyazaki.

Wes Anderson is a northamerican director, whose movies are known for be so colorfoul and with a specific photography that make every scene of the fil very pleasent to the eye of the audience, that detail is almost like his mark water.

Every frame and every detail is so precise, not only with colours, but also with the camera movement, with the clothes he choose for his movies and even with the music (he is a fan of 60's and 70's music), that I really felt in love the first time I watch one of his films! Especially the one that is my favorite until today: "The Royal Tenenbaums", for me is a master piece!

And my second favorite director is Hayao Miyazaki! Miyazaki is a japanese director and illustrator, who is part of "Studio Ghibli", a japanese studio of animation movies that definitely has my favorite animation movies. The reason I love his work is because, he captures the beauty of japanese nature and culture and mixed up with fantastic and magical events in a ways that -even when you are a grown up person- makes you get inmerse in a beatiful world created.

Just like Anderson, Miyaazaki work is very colorful and the most important thing to me is that every one of his movies has a woman as the main character. I guess that is why I've been a fan of his characters since I was a little girl, because I kind of feel related to each one of this powerful girls!

If I have to pick a movie, I must say Spirited Away. That is the first movie I saw and I just fell in love with it inmediately! The movie is just remarkable.

Rolling Stones, the best concert I've had attended.

Hello everyone!

Today I'm gonna talk to you about the best concert I've attended.
To be really honest I'm not so into them, I've been in concerts just few times in my life, but there is one I enjoy the most, because all the process to been there was some kind of "destiny"... or maybe, just my lucky.

I'm talking about the Rolling Stones concert that was on February 3 of 2016!
They play in the Estadio Nacional, one of the most important stadiums of Santiago (not just because of the capacity of it, but also for its history), that night was Rolling Stones's very first presentation of the "America Latina Olé Tour" and was an amazing experience that I almost miss because, in first place, I didn't have any intention of going, believe me, it was destiny!

Months previous to the concert, there was a contest courtesy of a very famous cookies label in which you could won two tickets for the big night. Of course, as a cookie monster myself, I loved so, so much that cookies at that time and I just decide to participe in this contest not hoping anything at all... but, guest what... I won those tickets!!! It's was a hilarious and amazing moment at the same time when I got the call.

And I couldn't say no to that opportunity, I was there that wednesday. I'm not gonna lie, get in there was a journey, the traffic was horrible!!! But, at least, we get there on time -I was with my cousins and my best friend who I invited with the tickets I won- and at 8 o'clock, when the concert was about to start, the stadium was completely full of people! I've never attended a full stadium before.

At first I was a little scare -because I'm a little claustrofobic- and I my ticket was for general court so, there was a lot of people surrounded me. Even when we were in an open space, I though I could start to experience a lack of air, but once the artists start to play their songs, everyone was just into the music and I completely forgot my fear.

No matter the age they have, those artist have a lot of energy and still can make you dance with their songs!

Now that I think about that concert in a more calm and serious way, I realized that I'm always gonna be really thankful for that night! Even when Rolling Stones are not my favorite band of the 60's, it is a very important and well known band, and their music has always been present in my life since I was a child thanks to my dad... he always has been a big fan of them and when I told him a was going to attend the concert he was a little jealous haha.

A place would like to visit!

Hello everyone!

If I could visit a new country someday, it would be defenitely England.

Since I was little I always wanted to travel to Europe, and England is one of my favorite places to look up to in the future! A place full of enchantement.

I really like country side and the history on it, something I would really love to know more about it, you know... visit historical places and see the big castles and churches. I really love Europe architecture!

But no only visit the country, of course, I really want to visit the capital city! London is a very historical place too and I been told that it has a lot of entertaining places to have a pleasant travel. Also, I'm a big fan of english music, especially The Beatles -one of my favorite bands- so I would love to visit the places that keep their memory and visit Abbey Road or their Museum, that would be amazing!

If I had the chance I also would love to study in there! It's my dream as a journalist to travel and discover beatiful places while I meet new people around the globe.
